STEVE BROADBENT

PARTNER

Steve Broadbent is responsible for all Multi-Family and Industrial Development in Thrive’s real estate portfolio.  Steve has worked in the construction and real estate development industry since 1996.  Steve has successfully developed and overseen the management of thousands of multi-family units throughout the Western United States.  He has managed the development of several gym anchored shopping centers in several states.  Steve has also successfully developed assisted living facilities, retail centers, professional and medical office buildings, office warehouse and storage facilities.  Steve holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a real estate emphasis from the University of Utah.  Steve is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Utah and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Apartment Association (NAA), and International Health, Racquet, & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA). 

CHAS JOHNSON

PARTNER

Chas Johnson oversees Thrive’s Commercial Development and Asset Management, steering the growth and success of the commercial real estate portfolio. With a career spanning back to 1998, Chas has been an integral part of the construction and real estate development industry. Throughout the majority of Chas’ career, he has focused on medical and professional office development, successfully developing over 1,500,000 square feet of commercial real estate projects. Additionally, he has developed multi-family, senior living, and retail projects across the Western United States. Chas holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Utah. He is a licensed real estate agent in the State of Utah and is also currently serving as the Chairman of the Board for the non-profit organization, One Heart Bulgaria.

MIKE CAMP

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mike Camp is responsible for finance, accounting, human resources, and investor relations at Thrive. He brings extensive finance and accounting experience to the role. Prior to joining Thrive, he served as the Chief Audit Executive for USANA Health Sciences Inc., where he was responsible for the company’s global internal audit function and played a key role in the launch of the company’s enterprise risk management program.

Mike worked for the international accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to joining USANA Health Sciences Inc. in 2010. He earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Accountancy from the University of Utah and is a licensed certified public accountant in the State of Utah.

CONNOR JOHNSON

PROJECT MANAGER

Connor Johnson is a seasoned project manager specializing in multi-family and residential development at Thrive. Since joining Thrive in 2017, Connor has adeptly overseen the entitlement of over 2,500 units across various projects. Currently, he manages developments in Salt Lake County, Utah County, Moab, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Connor’s expertise shines in financial aspects of real estate development, having facilitated the procurement of over $100 million in debt and equity. His portfolio extends beyond residential projects, having successfully navigated the development of commercial office space and entitled 80,000 square feet of retail area.  Notably, Connor’s contribution to Lakeside Landing, a master planned community in Springville, Utah, garnered recognition from APA Utah for its excellence. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Connor is an avid fly fisherman and skier.  Furthermore, he is an excellent networker, fostering connections across industries to drive successful real estate ventures.  Connor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a minor in Business from the University of Utah

ZACH OLSON

PROJECT MANAGER

Zach Olson is a medical office development specialist.  His expertise and responsibilities for Thrive include, acquisition, entitlement, design, construction management, and leasing of new office developments.  Zach excels at understanding the needs of his partners, clients, and tenants and finding solutions to help everyone involved in his projects succeed.  Zach’s career in real estate development started in 2004.  In addition to his work as a project manager for new commercial developments, Zach has also overseen a land acquisition team and has lead a team in the underwriting and valuation of several multi-million dollar loan portfolios.  Zach holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Utah Valley University. 

RUSS POULSEN

PROJECT MANAGER

Russ Poulsen serves as a dynamic project manager specializing in multi-family investment opportunities. With a focus on Montana, Idaho and Utah, Russ oversees the acquisition, entitlement, design, and financing aspects of multiple projects. Diligently monitoring housing markets, he has a proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on top-tier multi-family investments. Russ possesses a keen understanding of the demand drivers influencing the multifamily sector, coupled with a proficiency in the key financing metrics that underpin project success. Beyond his expertise in multi-family development, he has successfully managed the development of professional and medical office projects. Russ holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with a real estate emphasis from Brigham Young University and is a licensed real estate agent in the State of Utah.

DALLIN MADSEN

ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER

Dallin Madsen serves as an associate project manager with expertise in multi-family investment communities. His role encompasses guiding the development of such communities, from initial deal underwriting through property acquisition, zoning, design, funding exploration, project management, culminating the handover to the property management company. Dallin is additionally responsible for staying abreast of markets conditions for both current and prospective projects. In fostering professional connections, he actively cultivates relationships with vendors, general contractors, brokers, investors, and city employees. With a foundation in construction and a bachelor’s degree in business finance from Brigham Young University – Idaho, Dallin brings a well-rounded skill set to his managerial responsibilities.

GREG GOFFIN

INVESTOR RELATIONS MANAGER

As an Investor Relations Manager at Thrive Development, Greg is a seasoned professional dedicated to fostering and strengthening relationships with current investors. With a profound understanding of the real estate market and a keen eye for investment opportunities, Greg plays a pivotal role in raising capital for our innovative development projects. With a commitment to transparent communication, Greg ensures that investors are well-informed and confident in their investment decisions. Prior to his role as an Investor Relations Manager, Greg was a successful project Manager at Thrive, developing several medical and professional office buildings, delivering to dozens of tenants, and multiple investors. With a track record of success in navigating the dynamic landscape of real estate development, Greg is a trusted partner for both the company and its valued investors, contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm. Greg holds a degree in Sales and Marketing from Weber St. University and is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Utah.

CHASE HANSEN

INVESTOR RELATIONS MANAGER

Chase serves as an Investor Relations Manager at Thrive, demonstrating a remarkable ability to align investor interests with Thrive’s vision and objectives. He cultivates trust and confidence among both current and potential investors by providing invaluable insights. With a notable athletic background, Chase was an All-American football player at the University of Utah, earning the Tom Hansen Conference Recipient title for being the institution’s most outstanding student athlete in athletics, academics, and leadership. His professional journey includes four years in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints. Chase holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Planning from the University of Utah and is certified in Real Estate and Development from the Rice Jones School of Business which he completed during his time in the NFL. Leveraging his expertise in finance and in his leadership demonstrated in athletics, Chase effectively connects within and beyond the sports realm.

MIKE RICE

INVESTOR RELATIONS MANAGER

Mike Rice is a member of the investor relations team at Thrive Development, specializing in building relationships with family offices and institutional investors in the capital markets. Before joining Thrive, Mike spent over two decades in business development across several industries, primarily focusing on insurance for 18 years. During his time, he excelled in identifying, securing, and onboarding new clients nationwide. By understanding how he could bring value to his client, Mike collaboratively devised tailored strategies to achieve the client’s goals. Mike holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Utah and earned his M.B.A. from Brigham Young University. Mike lives in Holladay, Utah, with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two sons, James and Randy. Mike is passionate about coaching his sons’ baseball and football teams, mountain biking, and golfing with his family and friends.

RICK S. BENNION

DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION

With over two decades of immersive experience in Development & Construction, Rick S. Bennion stands as a seasoned professional adept in orchestrating the successful execution of multifaceted projects across diverse domains including multifamily residences, retail spaces, office complexes, and restaurants. Spanning 23 years, Rick’s expertise navigates the intricate landscape of construction and development, seamlessly merging strategic vision with practical implementation. Known for a keen eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence, he has consistently delivered innovative solutions, shaping environments that redefine industry standards and cater to the evolving needs of clients and communities alike. When Rick is not focused on Development and Construction, he competes in an array of different endurance competitions Ultra marathons, Triathlon, and Cycling and enjoys spending dedicated time with his family.

RUNYA BAKKER

CONTROLLER

Runya is an accounting and audit professional with a decade of experience in the field. Serving as Controller at Thrive, Runya brings expertise in financial management, reporting, and compliance to the table. Prior to her current role at Thrive, she gained valuable experience at Fortune 500 companies Adobe and Morgan Stanley, as well as public traded company USANA Health Sciences. Throughout her career, her strong analytical abilities have consistently enabled her to provide invaluable insights into financial data, guiding strategic decision-making processes within organizations. Runya holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Utah and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Utah.

ARIANNA KELLER

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Arianna is responsible for maintaining Thrive’s accounting and financial records, along with those of its affiliated development entities. Prior to her time at Thrive, she gained valuable experience at the global accounting firm Ernst & Young (EY). During her tenure at EY, Arianna contributed to tax compliance efforts, handling tasks such as preparing tax returns and conducting audit procedures to validate the precision of financial statements. Arianna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, with minors in Music and Spanish, as well as a Master of Accountancy from Utah State University.
